STANDING STONES PROJECT, ROMA STREET PARKLANDS

The Celtic Council of Australia (QLD) Inc has embarked on an ambitious project to erect a standing stones monument in the Roma Street Parklands in the heart of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.  The project is progressing with donations, grants and continued fundraising.  The next phase is to gain approval from the Queensland State Government.  The map below shows the location of the parklands.

The stones themselves have been transported and relocated to a holding yard in Brisbane awaiting their final resting place.  Further meetings are scheduled with Government to progress the project.  We thank for your patience while we work through the necessary steps.
